Behind the curtain. my first completed picture that was done totally in 2007. i think this year is off to a good start ^_^.
its different from what iv previously done, because i was playing around with line widths. i love the over all effect. especially the hair. I will probably carry on with this, because it works really well.

A good example of why my art teacher was always carping us about weighting our lines, it looks great! You've got so much depth and dimension in it! love it!

we learned to weight our lines in grade 9 art (I had really good teachers) and we have to do it in our Jewellery Drawing and Rendering class to give the piece more dimension.

this looks awesome

I think you could have thickened the lines even more, but the lighter look serves it just as well
thats more my preference

That is really pretty looking composition, the folds of the fabrics, look of her face and shape of her body are all very nice!

you do the folds of the clothes so well, im jealous ;_; lol you created a small paradox since the picture is nice and bright which sets a happy atmosphere when she's got horns and skulls on the background XD
